Zine

For this project as one of the mending techniques, I decided to make collages and collect all of them into one zine

In collages I mixed the pictures that basically represents my two "homes". By blending Rotterdam and my hometown Vilnius together, I intented to literally mend the distance between these two cities.

Also I noticed that when I feel homesick it always helps me to write about it to ease this feeling. Somehow it feels better when I write it out everything in my native language, so I also implemented the diary pages, poems that I found. As writing also a part of mending process for me

Also I implemented some letters from my family, and for them, as communicating with people I love also helps me with feeling less homesick.
